Probably one of the most fascinating and fun games I’ve ever played and I’ve got about 30 years of gaming experience from Atari to the next gen consoles. This is a must for anyone who even remotely likes action/adventure/puzzle games. I usually go back and play through it once a year and always see something I missed. It honestly reminds me of the Soul Reaver games for some reason and those were some of my favorites as well. It doesn’t have the switching from the normal world to the dark realm like they had but it just has that Soul Reaver vibe going on which is definitely a plus. The artwork is top notch and the story is actually pretty fascinating, especially if you’ve played the first Darksiders. The puzzles are fun and make you think, but they are not terribly difficult. The combat is slick, crunchy, and fast paced as well. It’s just a perfectly balance game that sucks you in while you are playing. The kind you play and don’t even realize hours have gone by. Don’t miss out on this game, it is one of those that will stick with for a lifetime. Definitely in my top 10 games of all time.
