It’s really a 4 but I’m giving it a 5 to offset the 1 and 2 reviews. Honestly it’s head and shoulders above JP 3 and the JWs. It feels like the actual ending of the trilogy for me. Directing, acting, casting, cinematography, and score were very good. Other poor reviews are probably coming from JP (and movies in general) burnout. This felt like Crichton helped write the script. Jurassic Park is my favorite book of all time !! Go read it.

If I ranked all the Star Wars films from highest the lowest: 5, 4, 6, Rogue One, 7, 3, 1, 9, 2, Solo, and then 8! I love all of them in certain ways, but you can’t go wrong with the 1970s western camp style and editing. I would call for a 2.0 version of these films following that style. And I believe everyone would love it!

Willow, Star Wars, Jurassic Park And Robo Cop were my religion as a kid! Like many, I really tried to like it, and yes it feels off, rushed, and no character is driving the story. Why is the movie Willow good? It’s because of Val Kilmer, he is the sole driving force of the film. The slapstick comedy is silly and the banter is goofy but it’s got heart and the acting is experienced. I knew without Val this series would struggle. Oh and the writing and acting in this series is somewhere between the worst parts of Harry Potter and the best parts of the Hallmark Channel! 😬

I think it’s commonly accepted that all movies have strong points and weak points. You like or love certain movies or you don’t like or love certain movies. Episode 9 is the best it could be with the events of episode 8. (JJ should have directed all three!) Episode 9 has some strong and bold moves and they paid off! If people are going to hate on it, they are no different than the ones who hate 1, 2, 3, Rouge One and Solo! I’m sorry but several of those are great movies with maybe a few weak points. One or two weak points doesn’t make a movie bad! Star Wars is Star Wars and its fun! I don’t care what anyone says. I loved 2, I loved 5, I loved 6, I loved 7, I loved Rouge One, and I loved 9!

Big transformers fan here. Grew up with transformers in the 80s and Beast Wars in the 90s. This is the movie they should have started with. The reboot movie in 2005 or whatever year it was, was a good movie but not great. This movie is in the right direction! If people say they hated it and loved the micheal bay garbage that we’ve been getting then, I’m sorry, there opinion means very little if nothing at all to me. I hope they reboot this franchise with what we got outa bumblebee. I want more movies like this. Good writing. Good soundtrack. Decent story. Flashes of cybertron. Humor. Action that we can see. And its all about the robots not the humans : )
