As a horror fanatic, I cannot fathom how or why someone thought this up. I get the concept; creepy family of three has hidden agenda in inviting guests over to their home far away. But - and not to be that person- it’s kinda unrealistic….. I’m not saying this isn’t possible, I’m saying the couple gave up too easily. Why did they not do something after the child was taken away, they just sad there in silence, basically patiently awaiting their death. It was strange. I mean no human behaves as such after witnessing the atrocities they inflicted on their daughter. Most would have taught to the death in that car due to the NEED nat WANT to have their child back. Not the best ending to an otherwise bone chilling first half of a film.
