Beast Games started as a hate watch show between my housemates and I when we ran out of Below Deck to watch. But we didn’t know just how much it would genuinely infuriate us. Everything from Mr beast and his minions fake/exaggerated reactions to every small thing that happens, down to the actual games that are played, is irritating. This could perhaps be blamed to the lack of individuality or personality of Mr beast and his minions, or due to the fact that the actual games themselves are boring. Most of the games are based around self elimination and peer pressure. These self elimination games cause psychological impacts on each of the players in the game, and the rest are simply throwing/catching a ball. There is little to no skill involved in any of the games, making for boring episodes that are made worse by the out of focus editing and zoom shots of a group of scrawny nerds that clearly have no social skills outside of the YouTube cult of teenagers they perform to. Don’t bother watching this show, it’s only putting money in the pocket of a clearly unemotional and manipulative millionaire.
