After the sad passing of Taylor Hawkings many fans might of asked how the foo's would respond, so let's get this out of the way this is a more melancholic album from the foo's than you might be used to hearing from a band who is famous for making "rock music you can dance too", it's an album that is the right mix of keeping with the overall foo's sound, there's alot of deep, raw, hard feelings of grief in this album, it's a perfectly fitting album for where the band are, a fitting tribute to a friend and missed band mate. The teacher is a the most brutal song on the entire album, hearing "wake up", "wake up" you just know that when this gets played live there's not gonna be a dry eye in the house as everyone knows who Dave Ghrol is asking to wake up.
Melodic, melancholic, deep, a great album one of there best easily. Just so sad how it came about.
