So they took one of the most choked, bloated (and slightly "Clooneyed") DC mainstays, paired it down to its 1930s roots, freshened up the bad guys, and brewed up a good 'ol cup of coffee with a splash of mocha-latte with cashewmilk. I am TOTALLY digging it. No trans-dimensional battles, no puzzling time travel, no Krypton villains leveling a city and killing millions. Just Batman working through his childhood trauma by connecting his fists with as many villain faces as possible. This is delicious old school DC with the inclusiveness the comics industry SHOULD'VE had decades ago. I hope it runs for years.
