Author seems very capable of weaving an engaging story and excellent dialogue between characters. The action sequences are visceral without blurring into chaos and the pacing makes for an easy page turner. It's a shame the cherry picked *statistics/data dumps only further hamfisted the blunt biases. I found myself eyerolling every 10-15 pages. If not for the inarguable talent of the author, I'd swear this was written by a sociology-major college protestor. Would certainly give the author another read with the hope their inherent partiality is toned down a bit.
