Visually, it's amazing. The animation is spot on and never deviates from that rubber hose cartoon style that fans fell in love with. Conceptually, it's just not good. The trailer and a lot of the promo leads fans of the game to believe that the series is going to be a plot driven cartoon, possibly based on finding a different contract in each episode. The reality is, almost none of the game characters are present. At all. The only original characters from the game that reoccur as far as Ive seen are Cuphead, Mugman, Elder Kettle, King Dice, The Devil, and Pork Rind. There are even episodes that would be perfect for introducing some of the others, such as a cemetery episode, but the Blind Spectre and The Ghost train take up three whole frames in the entire episode between them. I could get passed the deletion of the casino to appeal to a younger audience but really, this entire series is just a flop, and one big missed opportunity. Will not be finishing.
