Honestly I don’t watch a lot of shows but this series had me gripped from the very start! It really puts domestic abuse, homelessness, single parenting and mental disorders all into perspective in just 1 show! With this it also shows the love a mother has for her child and how a bond that strong is impossible to break. I can say that many people can relate to some of these events throughout the show, including myself, and I have so much sympathy for the character Alex and how she copes is a lot similar to me!
