Sadly, this does not appear to be "Slow Horses." Im not sure whether this is due to the source material or the direction, but its neither a comedy or drama, the tone is all over the place. Furthermore, every male character is depicted in a negative light. I stopped watching after three episodes.

Outstanding thriller, must see watch and how to do a man on the run in the most dangerous environment at the time. '71 is a 2014 British thriller film set during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. It tells the story of Gary Hook, a young British soldier who is abandoned by his unit during a riot in Belfast. Hook is forced to survive on his own in a city that is at war with itself. The film is directed by Yann Demange and stars Jack O'Connell as Gary Hook. O'Connell gives a tour-de-force performance, bringing to life a young man who is both innocent and naive, but also capable of great violence. The supporting cast is also excellent, with Sean Harris, Richard Dormer, and Barry Keoghan all giving memorable performances. Demange's direction is assured, creating a sense of tension and dread that is palpable throughout the film. The cinematography is stunning, capturing the chaos and violence of the Troubles in vivid detail. The film's score is also excellent, adding to the sense of unease and suspense. '71 is a powerful and disturbing film that does not shy away from the horrors of war. It is a must-see for fans of thrillers and historical dramas. If you are looking for a well-made, suspenseful, and thought-provoking film, then I highly recommend '71.
