I was initially ambivalent but found it was in my recollection much more than expected. Movie is heavy with the minutiae of a conductors life but on reflection perhaps was required to tell this story. Being a classical music audiophile perhaps would make the movie more enjoyable. In final analysis it is a chickens coming home to roost story.
