This show tells the story better than any of the other versions. I highly recommend watching this before you watch any of the new berserk anime. The animation is much more subtle than the new releases, but the action and thrills are still there. In my opinion the 2D style is superior to the 3D CGI. Beware, this show has the HIGHEST of highs, but the LOWEST of lows. It may leave a mark on you if you fall in love with it.
