The TV series adaption is very well done. There is almost no possible great way to transpose the writings of the book series into a movie or even a tv series, because the author went into great detail about so many aspects of the WOT world. So much detail. Yet the TV series has done a darn good job of transposing the important aspects of the book series, while making the TV adaption very good and extremely interesting. I've seen complaints about the juxtaposition of male/female balance and that reviewer claimed the book gave equal strengths to the male and female leadership. Which is patently absurd to anyone who read the series. Absolutely absurd. Someone would have to be clueless to read the WOT series and believe that. Female domination of the WOT world was front and center. Only when Rand rose to the Dragon Reborn, with his Asha men, did power start to balance out. In any case, great book series and definitely a good and interesting adaptation TV series.
