Well, while the movie, in the sense of entertainment sucks, (probably because of sucky kids), it still sends some sense to critical viewers. There was one shot when information was shared only with viewers about irregular animal migrations, which is trying to send warnings to us but we cannot read them. Our inability to reason with the natural world is stunning, and we try to scare these warnings away until it is too late.
We are overly reliant on technology that its absence will devalue humanity. Our overly isolation from what is happening to the world is portrayed by Rossie in the end when she leaves anything that could matter during the situation like information, just to watch "Friends" (Which I suppose is used to represent media). There is more that she could have got to the benefit of her family (world) inside the vault, but she chooses isolation.
I would have given it a 5 star but since it does little to the body, it will get a 4.
