Daniel Raycroft

This film is one of my all time favorites. It is so well written and the actors are superb. It was filmed in and around Gloucester, Massachusetts and is very realistic. The story is about a high school senior Ruby Rossi who loves to sing and with the help of her amazing music teacher discovers her talent. Ruby’s parents as well as her brother are deaf. Those three actors are actually deaf. Her relationships with her family and her teacher are central to this story. CODA is an awesome film!
