I have always been and always will be a Star Trek fan. Back in 1966 from the captains chair on the Enterprise is where it all started with Kirk, and a few decades later the journey continued in 1987 with Picard, By this point there was no stopping the Star Trek journey, which branched off in different directions with Deep Space Nine in 1993, Voyager in 1995, Enterprise in 2001, and now Discovery. Not one of the series following the original Star Trek were exactly the same. Each had their differences, some more than others. However, Star Trek Discovery broke all boundaries the first season, and the reviews by true Star Trek fans were split between love it or hate it. By the end of season 2 the opinions began to change in favor of the new series. As season 3 reached it's final episode I doubt there was a single Star Trek fan watching that didn't find a new found appreciation for the series.
I have enjoyed Star Trek Discovery from day one, and as season 3 just reached it's final episode I am already impatiently waiting to watch season 4.
