Diana Higginbotham

We are obsessed with this series. The acting, the storyline, the actors, the sets, costumes. Everything about this keeps us interested. There is crime, fighting, drinking and a few love stories. It is such a pleasure to watch the talent and skill of the directors in productions like this and The Crown and Poldark to name a few we have run across.

It was a disappointing movie that began so promising. A young Indian man added seemingly to help the storyline. The break-in at the bad guys' home that was undetected and unsuspected by the villains was far-fetched. The ending was brutal and just too conveniently wrapped up in an neat ugly bow.

Reckoning is not an "edge of your seat" nail-biter, but it is more of a psychological mystery where more than one character could be the suspect. And the entire cast is messed up except, maybe, the old man's girlfriend. The two leading men were really good in their parts. It is good, but it leaves you wanting a second season...soon!

Intriguing. I may have it figured out, but I'm waiting for some surprises. Acting is good. Nicole Kidman is great.
