This game kinda sucks. I didn't expect it to be better then Doom Eternal, because that was top 5 games of all time, and I guess you could say I wasn't let down: I was right about it being worse then Doom Eternal. Much worse. People like game reviewers probably glaze it because their opinions wouldn't be respected if they didn't like the game. Remember the backlash the last time game reviewers called a Doom game bad? (To be fair the backlash was warranted, stuff like the IGN gameplay footage is impossible to watch). Tell me why the final few boss fights only took me like an hour on nightmare mode. It's just the same parry mechanic over and over again for the entire game for all of the bosses. At times, because of this, the non-boss fights were significantly harder, as you couldn't just easily predict and parry attacks. I guess my main issues with the game are that the combat system was a downgrade and repetitive, and so was the music. I finished the game like a week ago and I already forgot what the music sounds like, Doom Eternal's music however, is completely unforgettable.
