Watching NCIS:Origins, I'm wondering if the casting people ever watched NCIS!.Shannon had red hair. A big deal was made that Gibbs liked red heads. The wedding pictures had Shannon's hair brown. Kelly had long blonde hair, not the short brown hair in Gibb's memories. Franks was at least the same height as Gibbs, not the small statue of the Franks character in NCIS: Origins. If the characters are unbelievable, then that sets a negative feeling from the get go. The writing seems weak. It doesn't hold my interest. I don't get a great feel for the interactions between the characters. I'm afraid this show is doomed.
