The movie was nothing like the original, they re-visit the tired trope of all these reboots that has the main characters as social media influencers. It seems like a cash grab, the characters werent even one dimensional, the writing on Two and a Half men is better (I mean that as a pejorative), there's no build up, they introduce a character in the beginning that plays no significant role in the plot (to the point she could've been cut all together), I've seen better special effects on made for tv movies like the Langoliers, the writers just tried to cram 10 pounds of excrement in a 5lb bag. There was no main cohesive plot line, it was like they brainstormed 5 different ideas, and then tried to film them all. On a side note, what they did with the "Charles" character was despicable, he should not have had a return in any way, they could've killed him off and left it at that, but instead they want to overlook his pedophilia to cram as much i.p. as they could. And the afterlife was missing everything that made the original such a great visual movie.
