I read the book twice.
I went to St Malo in October this year.
I had heard reviews about the series.
It is unbelievably bad.
It bears little resemblance to the story in the book and I found it heavy-handed compared to Anthony Doerr's deft touch.
Disappointing would be an understatement.
I hope Doerr is as disappointed.
