I haven't finished reading 'My Part of Her' yet, but I feel that I am in the presence of a great writer who weaves the dark side of human nature into the foundations of cultural destruction. It is poetical in its metaphors and satisfying concrete in its observations of an Iran which apparently no longer exists.
