Jeez what a cliche ridden wokefest, the story moves at a leaden pace and the main characters are utterly unlikeable. The plot is not particularly original and the shallowness of the characters impacts their credibility and makes for a tedious watch. For instance we are supposed to believe the main character will run for president at some point...I mean come on seriously?? As per the usual 'pushing of the message' all white male characters are essentially morally bankrupt, and everyone in a position of power is female. So if you get irritated by that type of thing don't waste 8 hours or so on this. Ironically I liked the detective (who of course was also a lesbian- yawn) and the sister who was in rehab but the rest of them were insufferable.
