Depressing for the most part. Best parts: Billy the acapella singer. Yes. It’s a stress- reliever for the show , people. Like David Lynch stuff. He’s a good singer also. Also best: rodeo scenes. Any scene with Rhett ( Bill Pullman’s son ). Sheriff interrogating these people that never seem to have heard of the concept of asking for a lawyer ! Oh and btw- Billy was the only son of the Tillerson patriarch ( Will Patton ) who actually gave a S h oot about his father . Worst parts : Autumn. The darkness of almost EVERY scene. Josh Brolin’s complete inability to smile - ever. Lily Taylor - in anything . The ex wife of Tillerson who looks like the hag she is but thinks she’s smokin hot. Scenes of DIY branding. If next season everyone’s gone/ dead (?) and we are left with Brolin , Taylor, and Autumn?- no thanks.
