Dismiss the poor "expert" reviews. If you are into true horror movies that are not slasher films, 1981's Ghost Story is just that. A SCARY ghost story! The film was creepy and eerie with an outstanding cast. Alice Krieg gives a chilling performance. One of my all-time favorite scary movies since I saw it in theaters in '81. GKH 💔

The girl vs girl roller derby scenes made me feel weird and tingly

The movie has a good soundtrack but the movie itself is absolutely pointless. There is no plot. Not enough likable characters. There's no substance. The good soundtrack can't even save this movie

Pretty straightforward. What you see is what you get not really any twists. Depressed the living hell out of me.

I had forgotten about this movie having seen it as a kid in the early seventies. It tends to be overshadowed by "To Sir With Love" , "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and some of the wonderful Sidney Poitier's larger budget motion pictures. But it's still a film that everyone should see. Sidney Poitier is one of the finest actors and gracious human beings to ever live . Any opportunity to see him perform his craft is a blessing

I can't stomach The Big Bang Theory but I love this show. Young Sheldon is likeable and not as robotic ( and mean spirited ) as the adult Sheldon
