I absolutely love the books and have read them several times, but I can only give this movie three stars. I do appreciate that the movie did a more realistic job of portraying the steaminess of Tessa and Hardin's relationship, and I completely understand that the book was entirely too long to portray all of its content in the film. That being said, I was deeply disappointed by some of the book aspects that were missing (the relationship with Zed, Hardin's very heartfelt letter/confessions of his life's mistakes, and Tessa's mom confronting Hardin and his mom just to name a few). I hope they do a better job with the screenplay for After We Fell.
