I’m about the finish the 1st season of the show, and I personally have a problem with how dragged out some of the plots are. I also find myself really frustrated with Catalina and Hilda. They’re both very stubborn. I think I understand where Hilda is coming from, but the whole yellow line and not wanting Catalina the younger to find out the truth about her sister was counterintuitive. It made no sense. They would have saved themselves so much trouble had they been honest with their daughter from the beginning. Also, Catalina’s thirst for revenge was almost hypocritical in my opinion. She was willing to steal $50,000 left behind for her parents to use to start a new life in order to hire a hitman to kill Diabla and Daniela. How did that make her any different than her enemies? It was super frustrating to see how blindsided she was by her hate. She was willing to go over anyone and anything in the name of justice. She even sent Pelambré to his death, and for what? I have a love hate relationship with this show because of these 2 characters. I don’t appreciate when a plot is driven by its characters stupidity. Half, if not more, of the problems these characters faced could have been avoided had they not acted out of stupidity.
