The people that are critiquing this epic, sci-fi masterpiece clearly have grown far too accustomed to the flashy, easy-to-follow pacing and storytelling of the modern Marvel movie. The scope is unimaginable, the atmosphere is satisfyingly engulfing. Every shot is a work of art, complimented with an amazing soundscape and perfect performances from a very well selected cast. And it seems people must be forgetting that this is 'part one', as it clearly states in the opening title. Therefore no one should feel as though the movie is incomplete, in the same way we didn't after the 'Fellowship of The Ring'. Quite simply, this is peak cinema in every sense. Denis Villeneuve has once again asserted himself as one of the greats.
