Ouch. Perhaps it's because I loved the original so very much, but I truly hated this pilot. Some of my very favorite characters were suddenly stereotypes....and did I ever miss John Doe as Liz's father. I didn't like the reimagining of the storyline or the characters. If you like the standard CW formula and you didn't watch the original series, perhaps you can like it but one episode was enough for me. What will they ruin next? Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
