Just another shitty streaming platform movie. Why do we even pay for these subscriptions anymore? This movie was seemingly written by an AI chatbot with all the “thriller” cliché tropes and predictability. The suave and cunning killer whistling while stalking her in the woods (so menacing!). The philosophy 101 level monologues about life and death before the climax (woah, deep). The main character standing triumphantly over the antagonist, looking into the distance with an expression of new found confidence and strength! (Very inspiring). And of course the song, “You Don’t Own Me” playing as the credits roll… 😂 Oh yeah, get this. A side character that almost saves the main character, gets a sappy false story from the killer to throw them off, but then they realize he’s lying, a scuffle breaks out but the killer kills them…that doesn’t happen once..that exact scenario happens twice! Almost beat for beat! Was this written during the writers strike?
