3 stars only bc it was decent enough to keep me entertained but i also wouldn't call it a good movie. not even by "torture porn" standards. the only people who would consider putting it in that category are preteens and middle aged women, which seems to be the bulk of reviewers here as many have made the comparison or are shocked and disturbed by what they've watched. it's relatively mild if you have any scope of field for gore/torture horror films. so as an adult, if that's what you're looking for, skip this one. the poughkeepsie tapes is a somewhat similar but better option, although a bit cringy and unbelievable as well.
