Review by George, aged 11 from Luton
I think this book was amazing because it was extremely funny throughout. I found it really immersive and easy to relate to the characters. The story is about a young boy called Elliot, whose mum suffers from dementia and who he wants to look after, but is up against the struggle of losing their house. Out of the blue, he meets a girl called Virgo (a goddess). They accidentally release the god of death, Thanatos, and have to turn to the old Greek gods for help to defeat him. Elliot is very brave and loyal. I'd say this book is great for aged 9-13!
