This is by far the best book I have read explaining the development and understanding of the therapeutic benefits of the cannabis plant. I should know In 2013 I was given a terminal diagnosis from "incurable rectal cancer" by my consultant at the UKs Royal Marsden. I had had chemo before and wanted to try something different. Cannabis was mentioned by a Danish friend. There was very little on the internet back then except a number of anecdotes presented by a Canadian called Rick Simpson on his website. I had nothing to loose, except a few months of life as the average life expectancy for my metastasis was 22 months. 7 years later I am clear of cancer and try to read as much as I can about cannabis and the endocannaboid system, to understands its affect on human physiology and how it can hopefully aid me going forward to maintain optimum health and wellbeing. This book is fairly easy to read and while there's a lot of "chemistry"; difficult for a dyslexic like me to assimilate, you don't loose much skipping over that type of detail, if you just want to look at the forest and don't need a detailed break down of each tree.
