Chanced upon this gem of a movie on Netflix - I’m so glad that OTT and specially Netflix is enabling access to world cinema and its best work. This Italian movie is one of the finest work of cinema in the last few years - I’m a junky for work history being told on celluloid but most movies are a failed and mediocre attempt but this one is such a delightful recap of what transpired in the poorer parts of Italy and Europe immediately after WWII came to an end. It wasn’t rosy and fascism hadn’t emerged victorious on the world map. The plight of the young unassuming children and their mothers is reflected with such careful restraint ..it’s a good thing that the Russian communists did their best to foster the poor children and work towards a good future for them. The movie use the backdrop of this world event beautifully to essay the true, helpless love of a mother for her child. The boy who played Amerigo has shown such tremendous display of retrained yet powerful emotions throughout and the last scene is heart wrenching. Definitely a movie that’ll stay with me for years to come.. I appeal to everyone global cinema lover and every person who would like to know what happened in the aftermath of the last WW must watch this brilliant piece of moving arts.. kudos to the makers for the eir excellent cinematography, screenplay and story telling..

Very realistically shot. A delightful vintage American crime drama. Gives more than a peek into the political mafia. Marked with sleek acting and very crisp characterization, clearly Robert De Niro’s best work to date.

Sharp, gripping, smooth and beautifully narrated. Amazing conceptual backdrop , awesome acting by Kaykay Menon (how is he so good?), Aftab Shivdasani, Vinay Pathak and the actor who plays Maninder. The background music only adds to the sense of drama is so gripping and apt! Makes the series larger than life.. The younger version of Kaykay is so endearing - silently strong! Everyone does such a stellar job and the jaan of Special Ops, Karan Tacker is back in the last 2 mins of the series! Can’t wait for 2.0 now Must must watch!

Friends Reunion takes us back into a time machine and then fast forwards us 17 years to present day with the same feel goodness and fuzziness! It’s warm, it’s still top notch and the characters still exude the charm that made them a steady rage and global sweethearts. Friends is our happy tuck-away place and this reunion episode only makes the theorem stronger. The characters are back in their real life avatar but are so believable, huggable and so so heart warming; the reminiscing over the iconic scenes and episodes is dealt with so naturally and brilliantly. The set replica brings the connection back in a nano second and makes it known as to much much effort and thought ha gone into recreating the magic. Having Janice, Richard, Gunther, The Geller parents and even Mr. Heckles is so thoughtful. We want more - let’s have fiction episodes back pls! C’mon - you’ve tested the waters, how about season 11 now!

Terrible movie! Period - you can easily give this one a skip.

The 1st half is ultra boring, the plot is all over the place - no one know what the heart and the charter are here to do and mean. Parker is almost sleep walking, Keya is a lost child wirh no stellar background and Rachel Stone is confused with such a weak plot and screenplay. Gal Gadot tries hard to perform in a movie that has zero script sense .. just happy that the movie ended after 1 hr 57 mins … ooof !
