Disappointed. No Ducky, no Dwayne Pride. Shannon is no longer a redheaded? I gave 2 stars instead of the 1 it deserves because Mark Harmon is associated with Origins. But did he have no input in casting?The Mike Franks actor is great however its hard to differentiate between the female agents and who cast Gibbs? The actor looks nothing whatsoever like Mark Harmon. No, he doesn't have to be a twin but his facial structure is completely different, most specifically his very square jawline. Makes it impossible to see Gibbs. This Gibbs does brooding very well but that's his entire range. Overall a yawn. Watched NCIS from day 1. Sad that Origins doesn't hold up

Really? This is why I rarely go to the movies. That Rotten Tomatoes gave this a decent rating is beyond comprehension. OK, special effects were impressive but the plot was barely existent, the characters stereotyped to Nth degree, and overall premise was just plain ridiculous Maybe I'd have liked it if I were 10.

This is a great show, however, as of episode 4 the story line has so run afoul of the book it's difficult to continue to watch. The book by Thomas Perry is extraordinarily well written and the story plenty thrilling and compelling on its own merits. A shame TV writers felt the need to COMPLETELY change two key characters as well as the original plot line? Why did they decide to fix what wasn't broken? My advice: enjoy the excellent performances but read the book.
