i had to FORCE myself to finish this game. the characters and story were like a 3rd grader's creative writing project. so extremely cheesy and cringe, i had to stop so often after a cutscene and stare at the ceiling because i could not believe how utterly stupid this shit is. pls do yourself a favor and play any other fire emblem title except this. fire emblem fates may have a controversial narrative, but at least i don't have to hear a character speaking "alpaca" and riding in on his "horsey". or a priest having a secret dance party on the battlefield. or look at a character dressed with giant jawbreakers and gumballs glued to her dress. fire emblem engage is an insult to the series. and it's fans are just as annoying. you may enjoy the core gameplay but it's hard to ignore the terrible art design, and 3rd grade writing unless you've got that tik-tok brain rot and skip all of a games dialog anyway.
