This movie EXCEEDED my already high expectations. I have seen the musical live twice in Chicago and it has always been my favorite. I grew up with The Wizard of Oz being my favorite movie so I was overjoyed when I heard Wicked was going to be a film adaptation. There was never a dull moment throughout the entire 2 hours and 40 minutes of this movie. I think there is something in it for everyone and thus could be enjoyed by anyone. I already plan to see it many more times in theaters to get the best quality experience. 10000/10 recommend. Additionally, all the bad reviews on here are clearly from people who have never seen the musical before and cannot appreciate the story for what it is. I pity these small minded people because they’ll never understand this masterpiece.
