During the first half of the movie I thought it was a funny, self-aware parody of feminism and the whole debate around gender roles. But then it kind of shot itself in the foot and the movie beacame less self aware and actually ironic. By the end of the movie the main character did not learn from her mistakes and Barbie Land regressed to what it was in the beginning; an unequal matriarchy. I was kind of hoping theovie would show what the real world should actually be like: equal. Oh well, definitely a 3 star movie. It was funny, too bad it was not able to bring an argument to conclusion.
