I thought this was a good remake! The cast was also great. Was there too much music IMO? Yes! Were some scenes left out or shorter? Yes! But I don’t understand some of the comments about the storyline or it not being a remake or something not being kid-friendly. If you watched the first one, you had to know/prepare for similar insinuations, scenes, concept, etc. to therefore determine if you wanted to bring children. Some of people made mentioned about men looking a negative way or about 2 women kissing. SAME as the first movie. This wasn’t like Beauty in the Beast where the original didn’t have 2 guys kissing but the newer version did. The 2 ladies kissing scene was in the first version. It was just a shorter kiss. I don’t agree with everything but it pretty much was the same idea. I just think if people wanted the exact same movie, they should’ve just stayed home and watched the original version. Overall, I thought it was worth going to support!
