Found this movie through Xfinity. Watched it with my nine year old granddaughter. We are exposing her to more ‘scary’ movies. The movie was much better than I originally anticipated! It’s been a long time since I have watched a movie that kept my interest with an intriguing plot. Just enough tension to keep my interest but not enough to give a nine year old nightmares! Ended up being a movie about authentic human emotional experiences and strengths. Totally recommend it even if you are not watching it with a kid!

Mary Poppins is one of my favorite movies .. I watch the 1964 version every few years. I consider myself a HUGE fan of the original. When I heard of the ‘Returns’ I was skeptical. How could we possibly redo Mary Poppins?! My granddaughter, son and I watched the original on Tuesday night, Wednesday we watched Mary Poppins Returns at the matinee. I was not disappointed in the slightest! I totally bought into Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins and found the movie to be delightful, as delightful as the original. It’s not 1964 anymore, Mary Poppins Returns is an awesome 2018 rendition which will certainly steal the hearts of another generation!
