I liked the book because it draws you in to each character and their stories. With that said, since I didn’t read it in one sitting, I had to reread some sections because of the different story lines that each character had. At times, it was a little confusing trying to keep up with each character’s side tracking events. I liked the innocence and insights from Billy and the protective nature that Emmett had in taking care of Billy. Why does Amor Towles use June 21 as key dates? (This book and A Gentleman in Moscow.). Is it his birthdate?
