2 Stars, that's being generous. Obviously I've seen the Sopranos, but I'd like the opinion of someone who hasn't seen the series. As a prequel it's expected that even someone who hasn't seen the show, could watch the movie, that wasn't the case at all. It felt like the movie was just going through the motions of the timeline checking the box of historic events and references to the series. Things felt crammed into the story that just had no place, I strongly believe this should have just been made into a prequel series instead of going to the big screen. Respect to all of the wonderful actors, they did a beautiful job with the story they were given, but unfortunately the story aspect faltered. The narration by Christopher was just odd also, and the deaths of main characters were not suspenseful. I think the only way to save this movie is to expand on it in a mini-series, they needed more time to tell the story and develop character connection and we just did not get that.
