As someone that lives and has grown up in the small-town Midwest, I can't help but laugh at the negative reviews of people saying, "yeah right, there'd never be a progressive church group in a tiny town." No matter how small the city, there will always be a pocket of "weirdos" who gravitate to each other and create their own fun. I don't think anything in this show is far-fetched as I've lived many of these experiences myself. The casting of this show is so spot on because it feels like any one of these people could be my next door neighbor yet, they knock it out of the park with their acting.
I truly love this show and I'm so happy a second season has been green-lit.
