Ajahjqnans Woqisun

Much better than I thought it would be. Is it better or the same as the original? No. I still prefer the oldie for many reasons, especially the acting, it's a bit lacking from Astrid (which is weird cuz the actress is awesome in TLOU) so definitely the director's fault. The dragon designs are MUCH better than the original (not toothless tho, I don't like how his face looks), but every other dragon was awesome, especially the Nightmare, so cool, and the red death and terrible terrors too! The movie does a lot of good, especially expanding on the already established dragons in the nest instead of having 4 species only. A scene I don't understand why they removed which is basically the entire reason they beat the Red Death is the scene where a terrible terror tries to steal Toothless' food, and growls at him, so toothless just shoots a little fire into its mouth and it puffs up and get knocked out. That scene SHOULD'VE been included, and called back during the fight... Still, a very nice watch, got some criticism for it but also has some well done scenes and good ideas! I recommend it.

Everything this show set out to do, it did beautifully. I think anyone who's had a troublesome teenhood, who's been seen problematic and never shown compassion or encouragement or a helping hand will feel this movie on a deep deep level. Similarly, anyone who wants to change the world, who wants to do good, who wants to help the downtrodden, will feel so much in this film. As someone who's been on both sides of the equation, this movie destroyed me, kept me in my feels for hours after. This movie was absolute perfection for me, I understand if someone doesn't feel it the way I did, but man if you do, this will be a favorite.
