This game will take you on an emotional roller coaster almost as much as the first game. It took me roughly 28 hours to beat it. I don't believe people who have played the game in its entirety can honestly say this was a terrible sequel to TLOU, because that is so far from the truth. I appreciate how Naughty Dog was attempting to show the events that unfolded through different perspectives, but I admit I still had a lot of bias towards who I have more empathy for, even after experiencing the different sides of the story. There were a few instances where I thought the game was giving off more of a Tomb Raider, or even Uncharted feel, that didn't quite fit the atmosphere of TLOU, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing; you are still playing a game after all. The visuals were simply amazing. Its so easy to immerse yourself in that world yet again. The controls are the same as the first one, and the introductions of new enemies are believable in terms of how they came to be, putting aside my opinion of how extremely grotesque some of the infected have turned out to look. Please take the time to give this game an honest shot at impressing you with its story and visuals. I personally think you won't regret it.
