I laughed from the get go. I am reviewing this after watching the first four episodes and then texting my sister to watch. Looking at some of the negative reviews, I guess some people have a different sense of humor.

Love this show! I went into it not having read the book. The stories around the before and after of the virus, and the connection to the graphic novel Station Eleven with some Hamlet thrown in, are all interwoven beautifully. I also enjoy the pacing of the show as well as the music.

Bad acting. Couldn’t get past beginning of episode 2.

I thought this was well done. I see so many parallels to Scientology — from suppressives to giving collateral (auditing). For those who say there is no plot: the documentary starts with what the cult is and how people are sucked in, continues with defection, and ultimately exposes Raniere, culminating in his arrest. To those who say these are entitled rich people: perhaps you missed where KR entices those same people in order to fund his cult? For people criticizing Vincente for being a narcissistic attention seeker— he was a documentary film maker before he met Raniere.

Probably the worst movie I’ve seen in a long time. Kept wishing it were over. Boring and I could have written. No good action: just looked like regular people flexing instead of any real super hero action. I want those two hours of my life back!
