Ka-Pow!! School

Not as bad as I’d dreaded. I had expected an absolute RESHOOT DISASTER but there were far less obvious clipping than I dreaded. All The villain's motivations were uninspired and largely nonsensical. The ‘widow’ character was laughable to say the least. Mackie, Lumbly, & Ford did their parts well from an acting standpoint. There was JUST enough Red Hulk but the character suffered from a weak ‘defeat’ as the writers didn’t have a believable and fulfilling conclusion prepared and opted for ‘Fal-Cap’ pulling a variation of the calming technique black widow (Scarlet Johansson) used on Hulk in avengers age of Ultron. Just didn’t land the same! All in all because my expectations were so SIGNIFICANTLY LOW due to Marvel’s/Disneys frequent recent DISASTERS my review of Captain America BNW probably benefited more than it should’ve. I give it a C-

Was HORRIBLE! The lead actress showed NO PERSONALITY & was TOTALLY unrealistic and unrelateable. The they attempted to pass as a plot was just PLAIN AWFUL! Her powers were undefinable and lame. This is especially curious as the director (WHO’s NOT a fan of the source material) stated she felt the original characters powers were “LAME” & changed them at her leisure resulting in an even LAMER character than the original! It was a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!
