A fantastic addictive romp into an open world fantasy. The combat system is organic feeling and very intuitive, feels great to progress through, and builds on its predecessor in ways that I could not have imagined if appreciate back when I was playing Dark Arisen.
Overall, this is exactly the kind of game that I needed, and if you enjoyed the first I'm confident you'll live this one. I certainly do. The world feels, to me, more lived in and organic than Elden Ring's (which makes sense, its a living world compared to a relatively desolate hellscape) and really makes exploration feel rewarding and fun. I haven't just wanted to explore in forever, but Dragon's Dogma really enables and encourages it with new and exciting discoveries that keep coming even 20+ hours in. I love it.
