I see a lot of bad reviews and a lack of understanding what for; I myself have watched and read the prior hunger games books including the Ballard of songbirds and snakes, and watched prior movies - I think the movie barely felt the 3 hours, the casting was good, and the movie itself I loved!! I think they did a good job portraying the book in a surreal way, as well as putting exactly what I imagined all the scenery to be in a way that made me as a ready feel as though the cast had never read the book. A well deserved 5/5 stars
