Just like with any re-make it's NOT going to be like the original. I love the anime. I have and will rewatch it a 100 more times before it even gets slightly "old". This version is really good. The actor playing Aang could use a few more acting classes to get the emotional effect that the original aang had and he's a little whiney. But altogether I loved the casting (zuko and sokka are PERFECT) and I understand why the had to remove, shorten and combine episodes the way they did. I really hope we get a second season and pol don't poison the water by expecting it to be a perfect replica instead of what it is: something NEW
